Session two of the Cyber Master Class Presented by MCPc and McDonald Hopkins set for October 8

DETROIT (October 1, 2020) – McDonald Hopkins and MCPc will present the second session in its 5-part Cyber Master Class webinar series on Thursday, October 8 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Session two, entitled “Understanding Legal and Cyber Risk Imperatives,” will feature Detroit-based Co-Chairs of McDonald Hopkins Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice Group, Jim Giszczak and Dominic Paluzzi, and Oswald Companies Vice President and Cyber Strategic Leader Lacy Rex. 
The discussion will focus on cybersecurity as a team effort guided by your legal and risk advisor, the roles that make up the team, developing a cyber protection protocol, cyber breach insurance options and case studies. Guests will leave the webinar with a greater understanding of legal, regulatory, compliance, and privacy concerns and how they tie back to threats.

Smith and CISA Cybersecurity Advisor for Region V Chris Gabbard joined MCPc’s Ganpat Wagh to discuss how law enforcement regularly partners with the private sector to share information and expertise that helps organizations become more secure.
Future Cyber Master Class sessions, “How Your Technology Partner Drives Data Protection" on October 29 and “Incident Response Planning” November 19 will set the stage for the series to conclude in a live interactive simulation, “How it All Comes Together: The Anatomy of a Data Breach,” on December 10.
