Novastar Calibration Expands Scope for Dimensional Inspection

Novastar Calibration Lab Expands Scope of Accreditation to Provide New Services
 
Livonia, MI, March 6, 2020 – Novastar Solutions announced today that it has expanded its scope of accreditation to accommodate demand for dimensional inspection services. Novastar has added this capability to its ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 A2LA scope of accreditation.
 
“We have expanded our calibration lab to include an additional dimensional inspection room dedicated for our two Coordinate Measuring Machines. The standardized environment maintained in this room will allow us to provide inspections with accuracies down to ± 2 µm for parts as large as 900mm x 1000mm x 600mm. This expansion is a result of our continued growth and dedication to providing solutions that meet our customer’s needs” reports Guy Howe, Director of Novastar Calibration Services.

A2LA Accreditation demonstrates Novastar’s commitment to deliver reliable, high quality calibrations. The non-profit and internationally recognized organization requires strict adherence to guarantee quality and competency of the provided calibrations.
