Michigan Entrepreneur and Founder of Kyyba Xcelerator Tel Ganesan to Join Comerica Chief Investment Officer Sorrentino at APACC Symposium

Livonia, Michigan – The Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce (APACC) announced today serial entrepreneur Tel K. Ganesan, Founder and Managing Director of Kyyba Xcelerator, an accelerator fund that focuses on connected cars and disruptive technologies to join Peter A. Sorrentino, CFA, Chief Investment Officer, Comerica Asset Management Group as speakers at APACC Symposium on Thursday, August 17, 2017.

The event will be held from 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at Comerica Bank at the Northeast corner of 6 mile and Haggerty at 39200 W. Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152 and will begin with networking and a continental breakfast followed by a conversation about current economic trends with a focus on the changing nature of U.S. global trade and its impact on currencies, commodities, productivity and the local business community.

Mr. Ganesan is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Kyyba Ventures, a venture firm for healthcare services, medical devices and digital health technologies as well as the Founder, Chairman, and former Chief Executive Officer (2005-2016) of Kyyba, a Michigan headquartered global IT, engineering and professional staff augmentation company.

Mr. Ganesan serves on the advisory committee for both the National Veteran Business Development Council and Ann Arbor-SPARK, is a member of the Board of Directors for Global Detroit, APACC, and Silicon Valley’s Astia, a curated, global community of experts committed to the success of world class women-led, highgrowth startups.

Additionally, Mr. Ganesan currently serves as the President of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Detroit chapter for the second term and served as the Chairman of TiECon, which led to the development of TiE’s flagship conference on Entrepreneurship in Detroit during turbulent times. Tel is the Founder & President of the Kyyba Kidz Foundation to assist orphaned children and underprivileged individuals by providing job training for job placement resulting in gainful long term careers and served as the past VP of American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin (ASEI).
