DETROIT (Sept. 5, 2019) – Attorneys from the Detroit office of McDonald Hopkins PLC spent more than two hours networking with students from Wayne State University Law School on Wednesday evening, Sept. 4, during a meet and greet with the school’s affinity groups.

The event held at Shield’s Pizzeria on Woodward Ave. in Detroit was attended by 25 students and was part of McDonald Hopkins’ firm-wide commitment to the community and education. Conversations with students included everything from the current state of the legal profession to advice on how to make the transition from law school to being a lawyer.

“It was a wonderful evening and opportunity for our lawyers and the local law students to meet and network,” said James J. Boutrous, II, managing member of McDonald Hopkins’ Detroit office.  We look forward to strengthening our ties and support of Wayne State Law and the community in which we have the privilege of working and living.”

Wayne State University Law School was founded in 1927 and is one of two public law schools in the state of Michigan.
