DETROIT – McDonald Hopkins LLC and Conway MacKenzie, Inc. will present the webinar "Navigating Troubled Waters for Higher Education: Liquidity Management and Bank Covenants" from 2-3 p.m. on Thursday, June 25.

Universities and colleges are making material decisions right now on how to open or not open their campuses in Fall 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. The implication of such decisions will have a major impact on revenue cycle, expense control, and overall profitability. Many of these unanticipated changes - as well as planned change - can trigger covenant defaults on bonds and bank loans.

Among the topics to be covered during the webinar are guidance on forecasting liquidity, anticipating covenant defaults, and managing constructive conversations with creditors that afford your institution time to stabilize in this environment.

Speakers will include McDonald Hopkins members Teresa Metcalf Beasley (Cleveland), who serves as chair of the firm's Public Law Practice Group, and Stephen Gross (Detroit), who is co-chair of the Business Restructuring Practice Group, Conway MacKenzie Executive Director Andy Dillon (Detroit) and Managing Director Jesse York (New York), and former Washington College President Mitchell Reiss.
