Learn How to Make a Recession Benefit YOU

TROY, MI — On Wednesday, November 13th the Troy Chamber will host a compelling CEO Series event featuring Leon LaBrecque JD, CPA, CFP®,CFA the Chief Growth Officer of Sequoia Financial Group. The event will take place at Hilton Garden Inn Detroit-Troy (200 Wilshire Drive, Troy) from 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and includes a sit-down breakfast, presentation and Q&A segment.

LaBrecque has invested more than thirty years in pursuit of one goal, enriching the lives of everyday people by helping them understand their financial lives. As a CPA, a CFP® and a CFA, he is passionate about making the complex world of financial planning, investing, retirement planning and taxation simpler and more accessible.

Understanding and recognizing key indicators which lead to the forecasting of a recession is undoubtedly a skill honed by years of experience. At the November event LaBrecque will share his knowledge and walk the audience through a timeline of the eleven recessions within the last seventy years, their severity and prospectively what caused them. He will cover the probable leading indicator of a recession and current statistics on that and other indicators.

In examining the forecast for an upcoming recession, LaBrecque will discuss the overlooked and unexpected benefits available for individuals and businesses. Giving the audience solid ideas for ways to prepare, as an individual and a business owner and to capitalize on the opportunities presented by a recession. The event will conclude with an overview of additional resources to execute an action plan, utilizing Sequoia Financial Group’s White Paper and Video Sessions.
