SOUTHFIELD, MichiganBrooks Kushman CEO Sangeeta Shah was featured in a recent article published by Law360 Pulse titled, “MidLaw Leaders On The Changes Behind, And Maybe Ahead.” In this article, seven leaders of midsize law firms talked to Law360 about their perspective on how MidLaw firms fared in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, what their takeaways for the year have been, and what opportunities they see on the horizon at the dawn of 2021.

Shah specifically discusses how midsize firms like Brooks Kushman, “benefited from being smaller and more agile, meaning they were able to put technology infrastructure into place faster and pivot to focus on client needs.” She dives into this further when discussing what she thinks we can expect in 2021, predicting that “Clients will be increasingly looking to firms that can adapt to the changing paradigms and provide value-added services that align with the client’s core goals, in particular when it comes to effectuating meaningful change on diversity, equity and inclusion at the organization and community level."

Sangeeta Shah is the CEO of Brooks Kushman, responsible for leading the firm’s Executive Committee.  In addition to serving as the CEO, Sangeeta maintains an active docket as an IP practitioner with over 20 years of experience in managing patent portfolios, PTAB matters, patent litigation and opinions.  Sangeeta works closely with several Fortune 500 clients for whom she provides strategic counseling and guidance on global intellectual property portfolios. Her patent expertise has resulted in national recognition from Managing IP, Best Lawyers, IAM, AIPLA and the PTAB Bar Association.
