FARMINGTON HILLS – The Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce (APACC) announce the judges for Blood of the Dragon “Meet Your Next Opportunity” Start-Up Showcase, Tanya Skilton, Purchasing Director, Advanced Technology for General Motors, David P. Weaver, Chief Investment Officer for City Side Ventures, LLC, Sameer Desai, Vice President, Purchasing for Faurecia North America, Qiong Sun, Vice President of Engineering, Electrification for LEAR and Bruno Carraro, Director of Global Innovation for Magna. Each start-up will have an information board and table to showcase their company. The judges will decide a winner during the event. Guests will have an opportunity to interact with start-up companies.

Blood of the Dragon is a culture-infused business networking event offering guests access to corporate executives, entrepreneurs, community leaders, decisionmakers, angel investors, diverse businesses, and local startups. The event will take place from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Guests dressed in red and burgundy attire will enjoy a strolling fusion of cuisine from China, India, Japan, and Korea, signature cocktails with cultural performances from around the world.

APACC along with 150 guests, will gather at the Detroit landmark, The Madison Rooftop and Loft for the Chamber’s signature Blood of the Dragon “Meet Your Next Opportunity” wine and sake networking reception. The rooftop terrace offers impressive views of Comerica Park, Ford Field, the Detroit Opera House, Fox Theatre, and Greektown Casino-Hotel. The Loft is a modern gathering space perfect for Blood of the Dragon.
