No-Cost Virtual Instructor Training for Industry 4.0 Fundamentals Offered by ATS Midwest

This August, ATS Midwest is offering virtual training around Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies at no cost to attendees. Secondary and post-secondary instructors are welcome to attend, as well as industrial employers interested in workforce training.

Industry 4.0 technologies are being widely adopted across advanced manufacturing and industrial sectors. The Industry 4.0 Fundamentals program was developed as a turn-key solution for educators to keep up with workforce trends and graduate students who are well-prepared for these new roles. Included in this curriculum are courses in mechatronics, industrial controls, industrial robotics, and the industrial internet of things (IIoT).

Throughout August 10-21, ATS Midwest will host 35 hours of training free of charge to any educator interested in learning more about these technologies. Training will be 100% virtual, modeling at least seven different methods instructors can replicate to deliver learning in a remote, blended or hybrid model this fall.

Attendees will receive extensive training on Industry 4.0 technologies and trends, firsthand access to eLearning curriculum and virtual trainers, opportunities to connect with other educators, and the choice to sit for Industry 4.0 certification assessments through the Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA).
