APACC to host inaugural entrepreneur event during the highly-anticipated B2B East-West Business Connection

Livonia, Michigan – The Asian American Chamber of Commerce (APACC) will host its inaugural APACC Entrepreneur Academy “Leadership in a Changing World” on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Laurel Manor located at 39000 Schoolcraft, Livonia, MI 48150. 

The Entrepreneur Academy will take place during the 16th annual APACC East-West Business Connection, a global business networking event which attracts nearly 350 attendees, comprised of Asian and U.S. businesses and certified minority, women, and Veteran owned business enterprises throughout the Midwest. 

The event will feature networking, a supplier exhibition, and two panel discussions from industry leaders who will share their expertise to showcase trends, opportunities, how they can capitalize on this rapidly-changing global marketplace as well as showcasing how business leaders have overcome challenges and transformed their enterprises into stronger organizations.  There will be an abundance of networking offering attendees a full day of opportunity and lunch is included.

The East-West Business Connection discussion will relate to “IoT and Digital Transformation: Making the Connection and Capitalizing on the Opportunities.”  Panelists include: Bill Foy, SVP of Engineering, DENSO International America, Inc., Chris Willis, Chief Design Officer, DOMO Inc. , Jason Tsai, VP of Product Development, FANUC Robotics; and the panel will be moderated by John Clark, Managing Director, Automotive, Discrete Manufacturing, Supply Chain, DOMO Inc.

The Entrepreneur Academy discussion will relate to its theme “Leadership in a Changing World.”  Panelists include Suk-Kyu Koh, Chairman & CEO, Chrysan Industries, Inc.; Courtney Stevens, Director, Virtual Care Department, Henry Ford Health System (HFHS); Seema Verma-Prince, Global Director, Strategic Planning, Inteva Products; and the panel will be moderated by Ronald E. Whitney, Partner, Honigman
