The digital assistance system for manual assembly
The ActiveAssist software increases process reliability and quality through Industry 4.0 innovations

The digital assistance systems for varied assembly tasks, ActiveAssist supports employees with target information every step of the way.
Bosch Rexroth’s ActiveAssist combines software and hardware to create a new assembly assistance system. The newest Industry 4.0 product out of Bosch Rexroth uses software to standardize assembly plans and manual processes. This product puts the employee first and employs starter kits for stations with a variety of tasks.
ActiveAssist assembly assistance system from Bosch Rexroth delivers Industry 4.0 technology to the manual assembly process. It provides intuitive worker guidance to easily visualize all information for varied assembly processes. It couples a freely configurable software system with a quick-to-learn workstation area. To guide employees through assembly steps, it features a projector, pick-to-light, touchscreen, virtual surfaces and more.
All-in-one solution connects employees to the virtual world
The comprehensive assistance system guides employees with precision by projecting work instructions directly onto the work surface using a projector. The assistance system identifies workpieces by RFID or barcode and then loads work plans onto the monitor. Signalling correct grab containers and step by step workflows enable employees to effectively assemble complex batches. The employee’s movement can also be tracked via 3D cameras.
ActiveAssist is a dynamic, connected solution that provides employees an interactive assembly experience. Users can equip assembly stations with different assistance functions based on needs. Since it is on a web-based software, numerous systems and assembly stations can be connected. Other hardware components such as Nexo tightening systems from Rexroth can be incorporated, allowing tightening parameters to be monitored and logged.
