Job Description
Employee Relations Specialist Responsibilities
  • Support union negotiations and monitor Americas manufacturing companies’ Labor Relation Issues
  • Identify and deliver Americas manufacturing companies’ Employee Relations training needs (non-investigation related)
  • Create, update, and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports
  • Conduct KPI Analyses and provide info to Management
  • Procure attendance data, monitor, and follow up on issues
  • Communicate with management and HR Benefit / Payroll group
  • Create company policies, implement, and update them and support standardization activities
  • Create presentation materials for meetings and presentations
  • Support Workplace Survey & monitor Americas manufacturing companies’ countermeasures
  • Conduct Exit Interviews
  • Manage Compressed Work Week (aka: Flex Schedule) program
  • Manage Tuition Reimbursement Program
  • Design and provide New Hire Orientation (Employee Relations portion)
  • CONCUR (Online Travel & Expense Report) support / admin
  • Create Request for Approvals
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Employee Relations Specialist Requirements
  • Associates degree in related field, preferably with Human Resources
  • Minimum of three years of Human Resources Employee Relations work experience
  • Experience in the automotive supply industry preferred
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suites 2007 or newer is required
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines is required
  • Effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills with all staff and management are required
  • Effective attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills is required
