Event Description:

The Microsoft HoloLens visor enables using augmented reality applications for remote service and education purposes. The visor is a pair of transparent lenses with projected 3D images. Included in the bottom edge of the headset are also a pair of small, 3D audio speakers. HoloLens uses natural interface commands of gaze, gesture, and voice. Gaze commands, such as head-tracking, allows the HoloLens to focus the user on the subject to be perceived. Virtual applications or buttons are then selected using gestures such as an air tap, similar to a real-world computer mouse. Advanced gestures allow for pinching, dragging, pulling, and other 3D manipulations of visual objects in 3D space. In this session, we’ll explore the HoloLens’s capabilities and applications including utilizing it with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service and Microsoft Dynamics 360 Guides. This is an important topic for anyone in IT, Service, or Training & Management professionals to learn how to leverage new, cutting-edge technology!
