Event Description:
Macomb Community College’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, in partnership with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and Wayne State University, is hosting a free event Friday, May 17, 9 – 11:30 a.m., designed to help Macomb County entrepreneurs learn successful strategies to grow their businesses. John Paul Rea, deputy county executive, Macomb County, will present the keynote address, Growing Your Business in Macomb County, and discuss how technological innovation and emerging talent is reshaping the economic landscape here in Macomb County and around the globe.

In addition to Rea’s presentation, Camille Walker-Banks, Wayne State University’s executive director for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, will lead a panel discussion of local successful entrepreneurs who are alumni of the Goldman Sachs program. They will answer questions about the strategies they used to gain market share and grow their respective businesses.
