About the Keynote Speaker:

Supriya Kanetkar has diverse professional experience from teaching, journalism, consulting MNCs on Corporate Social Responsibility to research and recommending market opportunities and entry strategies to numerous foreign companies. Kanetkar is director at SRK Affiliate and co-founder and partner at SRK and Associates, its sister firm. Based in Bengaluru, India, the firms are engaged in providing international trade development and investment attraction services to its clients.

In July 2019, SRK Affiliate was appointed as Trade Representative for Conference of Great Lakes & St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers for India. Since 2001, SRK Affiliate has been serving as Authorized Trade and Investment Representative for the Dept. of Community & Economic Development, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

During the past 18 years, Kanetkar has assisted companies from varied industrial sectors such as agriculture, hardwood and food processing, minerals, metals and mining, life sciences and medical equipment, environmental technologies, information technology, software, port and logistics, education and many more.

The trade development services offered by SRK include market research, market entry strategy, agent/distributor search, foreign company background checks, information on import duty, customs regulations, regulatory requirements, in-country assistance for business meetings, trade mission organization and trade show participation etc.

Kanetkar is also a senior partner at IBG Global, an association of private commercial consulting firms and works closely on projects with other IBG offices across the globe.

Prior to establishing SRK, she worked as a Project Coordinator at Business & Community Foundation, where she was engaged in evolving Corporate Partnerships for Sustainable Development. Earlier, she worked as a Lecturer in Political Science in Senior College at Mumbai University and freelanced as political analyst for print media.

Kanetkar has a bachelor’s degree in Arts from prestigious Lady Shri Ram College at Delhi University, a Master’s degree in Political Science and M. Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. In 2006, she completed the Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry program offered by Iacocca Institute at Lehigh University.

Kanetkar has been conducting virtual Executive Sessions for the students of Global Village program regularly since 2016.
