Event Description:

What is a CNC Operator?
The CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator runs a machine to create parts from raw materials, typically metal. The operator inputs instructions into the CNC machine so the machines can perform the correct function, such as drilling, milling or grinding. 

Successful Program Completers Receive: 
Schoolcraft College Certificate of Completion 
NIMS Level 1 (Nationally Recognized Certifications) Certification Exams 
OSHA 10 Certification 
Guaranteed interviews upon completion of the course

Course Objectives: 
Read Blueprints
Review Shop Math 
Perform basic machine tool operations 
Identify CNC Mill and lathe Tools used for CNC machining 
Inspect basic components 
Setup and define work offsets and tool length offsets 
Setup machines for production runs
Prepare resumes
Practice interview techniques

There is an immediate need for CNC Operators in our area! 
Full Time Positions Available with benefits 
Starting Pay $13-16/hour
Potential for Advancement and Further Education 
Veteran Friendly

July 22nd through August 22nd
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (1 hour lunch)
Course Fee:  $3,300
