Troy, MI— The Troy Chamber of Commerce and its Nonprofit Network (NPN) will host the 15th Annual Nonprofit Management Conference, presented by PNC Bank on Thursday, April 23, 8 a.m.–3:30 p.m., at Walsh College, Troy campus (3838 Livernois). The annual conference marks fifteen years of revenue sharing given to nonprofit Troy Chamber organizations made possible by the conference’s sponsorship and ticket sales.
For fifteen years the Nonprofit Network has served as a group within the Troy Chamber, focused on providing collaboration and improving the awareness of, non-profit organizations that serve, or are based, in Troy. The NPN is available to all nonprofit Troy Chamber members free of charge and offers two levels of participation with its Supporting and Contributing membership options.  In 2019, nineteen members who met the contributing membership participation criteria received an equal portion of the 2019 net proceeds from the 14th Annual Nonprofit Management Conference.
“With over 2600 nonprofit organizations in Oakland County alone, we know first-hand how important it is to support our charity partners,” said Tara Tomcsik-Husak, President and CEO of the Troy Chamber of Commerce. “The NPN Conference supports our local nonprofit partners by providing networking and educational resources in a one-day event that can be used to grow the skills of our philanthropic professionals.  What people don’t know, is we share the profits of the conference with our eligible Troy Chamber NPN Members.  Not only do they leave inspired with more knowledge, they leave with a donation to their organization.”
Tickets for the 15th Annual Nonprofit Management Conference, breakfast & lunch included, are $60 for Troy Chamber members and $115 for non-members. Two or more attendees from the same non-member organization will receive a $15 discount per person. Space is limited and reservations must be made in advance. This affordable management conference for nonprofit professionals, board members and volunteers is sponsored by PNC Bank, with support from venue sponsor Walsh College, and event sponsor, Hunch Free.
