Job Description

Position Title:  Quality Manager

Essential Duties:

·       Manage the operating system to maintain compliance to latest revision of the ISO Standard as the Management Representative.

·       Establish and maintain compliance to internal auditing, process controls, quality system reviews and documentation.

·       Manage the equipment, gages, and tools to support the timely manufacturing of quality products and services delivered to customers.

·       Establish department objectives that support the strategic goals as identified by the management team.

·       Create, review, modify and approve quality system procedures, work instructions, and specifications that support the Quality Policy.

·       Perform proactive quality assurance market research and technical benchmarking to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

·       Perform quality analysis and report on key metrics, including customer satisfaction through surveys, customer complaints, returns and non-conformances.

·       Interface with customers and suppliers on quality issues and concerns.


  • 4-year engineering degree or equivalent with 10 years field experience.

  • 5 years of experience in Quality functions associated with manufacturing processes including Heat Treat, CNC and manual machining (turning and milling). Forging experience a plus.

  • Knowledge and application of problem-solving techniques.

  • Technical background and knowledge of NDT, inspection techniques, GD&T application, material properties and material processing.
