Job Description
Purchasing / Accounting Assistant Responsibilities
  • The position will assist the purchasing group with activities from obtaining quotes to order maintenance
  • Main function is to support the Procurement Specialist with a variety of purchasing functions
  • On-time delivery tracking
  • Item master updates and additions
  • Order updates and maintenance
  • Spare parts purchasing
  • Spare parts invoicing
  • Submitting RFQ’s to local vendors
  • Basic Administrative duties within the Procurement Department
  • Full time 40 hours per week
  • Flexible start time / hours
  • Personality requirements:
  • Highly organized self-starter
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detailed and accurate
 
Purchasing / Accounting Assistant Requirements
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Must have experience with Purchasing
  • Must have experience with writing RFQ’s
  • Must have experience with Invoicing
  • Knowledge of BPCS / SAP a plus
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must have experience with Accounting
  • Must have experience with Purchasing (preferably in the Automotive industry)
  • Must have experience with writing RFQ’s
  • Must have experience with Invoicing clients
  • SAP experience is preferred
