Job Description
The Inspector / Laser Tracker Technician will provide custom laser tracker services to measure a variety of machines, fixtures, and structures for a variety of customers. They will also produce easy to understand inspection reports that include written descriptions abd data tables.

In this role the ideal candidate will act as a network and think innovatively while
executing the following responsibilities:

? Calibration SMX machine, connection, power on, Software start up, initialing machine, SMR selection.
? Identification input data, positioning of machine, hand tool usage, model 3D usage.
? Import 3D model and data, conversations, leveling of machine, zero point of machine.
? Pin certification, block certification, adjustments of units.
? Creation of final report as per Comau Standard or customer requirement.
? Other Duties as required
 
Reports to: Quality Manufacturing Manager
Do you have what it takes?
This role is best suited for a candidate that possess the following qualifications:
Required:
? Intermediate use of MS Office programs.
? Good understanding of GD&T / FT&A.
? Master blueprint reading skills.
? Knowledge of EHS rules for work in the plant
? Minimum of 3 years Laser Tracker operator experience
? Minimum of 5 years tooling experience
? Education H.S. diploma or equivalent.
? U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.
 
Preferred:
? Ability to work independently with written and verbal direction.
? Good problem solving skills.
