Practice Lead - Special Projects (2604-AA)

We are searching for a unique individual with both technical and
business development skill.

Your background in software development coupled with your desire to
understand and help solve customers' problems are key.

Ann Arbor, MI area

Commensurate with experience.

Please note: In some cases, our client elects to engage candidates in
a contract-to-hire model. If this applies to you, you would be an
employee of Stout Systems for approximately 6 months and then convert
to employment with our customer.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Computer Science or Physics preferred


   -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

   -Experience or a strong interest in a client-facing role

   -Excellent skill in a programming language such as Java,
    C++ or C#

   -An aptitude for organization including project management,
    meeting facilitation and reporting

   -An aptitude for program management to guide the evolution
    of the Special Projects organization

   -Because our client works for the U.S. Department of
    Defense, you must be a U.S. Citizen.


   -Meet with and talk with customers to understand the
    technical problems they are trying to solve

   -Identify customer needs that fit within the capabilities
    of the team. This team solves unique problems that are almost
    always R&D projects with custom solutions.

   -Contribute to the vision or road map for the Special
    Projects organization

   -Qualify new inbound leads as to technical fit with the
    special projects team

   -Contribute to the management of projects, resources and
    schedules to maximize delivery

   -Contribute to the tracking of budget and spend

   -Facilitate meetings

   -Prepare status reports

   -Contributing to web content and documentation as necessary


   -You might come from a background in:
    --Hardware Prototyping
    --Applied Physics
