Job Description
Lead PC Support Specialist Responsibilities
  • Supervises and coordinates PC Support staff, including prioritizing, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing work and monitoring work progress; assisting, coaching and training PC Support staff; and completing employee performance evaluations
  • Administers and maintains IT Help Desk database, including monitoring and tracking requests for technical service; identifying service trends; and recommending process improvements
  • Manages PC replacement and installation of hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Including developing a standard image and overseeing the rollout
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records, including processes and procedures
  • Maintain professional appearance and organization of technical service areas
  • Recognize problems, troubleshoot, and respond to address issues in timely manner, gather information and seek input from other resources and 3rd IT party support to work through and resolve complex issues
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks
  • Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Director, performs responsible administrative and technical work that includes the oversight, direction, and supervision of the Information Technology PC Support functions 
 
Lead PC Support Specialist Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years of PC / Desktop Support experience, including experience with current versions of Windows operating systems and TCP / IP; large networked group support; Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Skill in a scripting language such as AutoIT, Powershell, or VBScripting for the creation of installation scripts, tools, and small applications
