Job Description
HR Generalist Responsibilities
  • Administers various human resource policies and plans for company personnel
  • Coordinates hiring efforts including contacting candidates, arranging interviews, coordinating recruiting activities, and onboarding new employees
  • Performs benefits administration including change reporting, reconciling invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees
  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals
  • Assists in talent management efforts, disciplinary actions, and training and development
  • Assists with navigating immigration issues in hiring and retention activities
  • Participates in regular payroll administration via our third-party payroll provider (Paylocity)
  • Prepares and maintains company organization charts, employee directory, employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
HR Generalist Requirements
  • BS / BA Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the Human Resources field dealing with professional-level talent
  • Broad understanding of issues and rules related to human resources and responsibilities
  • Experience interfacing with employment candidates and strong ability to sell the company
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other PC applications, ability to adapt to new technology as it becomes available
  • Must have a high level of discretion and the ability to maintain complete confidentiality with all HR and payroll related matters
  • Thrives in a team environment
  • Willing to jump in and roll up their sleeves
  • Ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects / priorities
  • Experience administering payroll and / or using an HRIS preferred
