Job Description
Specific Responsibilities:
— Lead and manage the daily activities of assigned projects
— Lead design and development of new products within schedule and budget parameters
— Organize and lead cross-functional seat trim reviews
— Plan and develop experimental test programs and evaluate the results
— Issue drawings, specifications, BOMs (header cards)
— Change and release coordination
— Proactively identify and resolve engineering and manufacturing related issues
— Resolve technical and manufacturing issues without detailed direction
— Able to work independently and as part of a team
— Assist customers in resolution of field issues. Must have the ability to interpret customer needs and provide information within set deadlines
Job Requirements:
— Must have effective organizational skills and the ability to prioritize assignments
— Strong conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills required
— Demonstrated success in leading product development projects from concept through commercialization
— Seat Trim: 1 year (Preferred)
— Working knowledge of seating systems, interior components and cut & sew preferred
— Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
