Job Description
Quality Engineer — Automotive

— Technical degree from accredited school or Bachelors or higher degree from accredited school, and Certification(s) in Quality area, IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015, ASQ, etc.
— 3+ years automotive quality experience
— Demonstrated knowledge of problem solving techniques, DMAIC, 8-D, etc.
— Critical thinking skills
— Proven record of process improvements
— Demonstrated customer development
— Demonstrated knowledge and application of AIAG core tools
— Certification to IATF 16949
— ISO 9001:2015 experience may be used if in conjunction with automotive industry

— Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
— Work in team environment
— Travel outside the US without restrictions
— Handle multiple projects/tasks
— Prepare reports as necessary
— Excellent written and spoken communication skills
— Proven ability to work with large OEM customers in problem resolution
— Conflict resolution skills

— 3 + years minimum in automotive environment or with automotive systems
— Progressive responsibilities within engineering or quality departments
— Working with and communicating with foreign, primarily Chinese, companies
