Job Description
Hardware Engineer
A hardware engineer at twisthink is responsible for designing circuits for embedded solutions. He/she will run extensive analysis on the design including worst-case analysis, simulations, failure mode analysis, etc. In addition, he/she will create and execute test plans for the hardware when it physically arrives, work with oscilloscopes, power supplies, DC loads, signal generators, as well as supporting the software team during development. Required Proficiencies:
  •  5+ years electrical engineer experience
  • Design of:
    • Hardware architecture
    • Low voltage switching power supplies – precision A/Ds design
    • Basic analog circuit
    • Serial interfaces (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN)
  • Perform:
    • Circuit Simulator / analysis
    • Thermal analysis and prove out 
  • Understand EMC compliance and standards
  • PCB floor planning
  • Bench level debugging
