Job Description
Quality Supervisor (Aerospace) – Great Benefits Responsibilities
  • Monitors the Quality Control Inspection team
  • Gear Inspectors use outlined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications
  • Inspect visually, in process and completed mechanical units and subassemblies
  • They will accept or reject components based on customer specifications
  • Gear / Final Inspectors work from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists
  • Manages performance including disciplinary and formal performance reviews
  • Holds team members accountable to high level of expectation and quality standards
  • Resolves inter-departmental disputes and / or specification interpretations
  • Identifies efficiency improvements
Quality Supervisor (Aerospace) – Great Benefits Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing
  • 5 plus years of Manufacturing and Quality Assurance experience in Aerospace or other Complex manufacturing industry with exacting / demanding requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Quality Lead / Supervisor
  • Proven supervisory experience in aerospace quality
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and its application
  • Working knowledge of AS9100
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints & gear charts
  • Strong preference for previous experience as a Quality / Manufacturing Engineer
  • Ability to read and comprehend specifications and work instructions
  • Knowledge of Inspection Equipment
