Job Description
Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities
  • Develop recruiting strategies based on the needs of our business in various locations in the United States
  • Conduct meetings with hiring managers to understand position requirements prior to the start of recruitment
  • Create and post internal and external job postings which attract the best talent for the company
  • Source active and passive candidates using recruitment tools such as networking, social media, applicant tracking systems, university relations, and beyond
  • Pre-screen and interview potential candidates for employment using technical and behavioral-based interviewing methods
  • Negotiate and extend offers to candidates in accordance with company policy and hiring manager requirements
  • Participate in the onboarding process for candidates after offer acceptance
  • Participate in recruitment events at universities
  • Facilitate and participate in recruitment events / job fairs at our plant locations
  • Maintain recruiting databases, systems, and web-¬based recruiting tools
  • Track and report recruiting activity and metrics
  • Perform additional job duties and HR projects deemed necessary or appropriate
Talent Acquisition Specialist Requirements
  • 4-year degree required in Human Resources or related field
  • Tier 1 Automotive experience strongly preferred
  • Manufacturing industry experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experienced in recruitment for salaried and hourly positions, including technical and managerial level roles
  • Experience using social media and web-based recruitment tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required to plant locations or university locations
