Job Description
Sales Account Manager Responsibilities
  • Coordinates the efforts of the functional departments, as required, to ensure that the programs are conducted in accordance with the requirements of sales orders and budgets
  • Interfaces with customers on schedules, meetings, and problems
  • Keeps the customer informed on the program status
  • Work with finance to establish program funding and creating the CER for program funding approval
  • Manage program open issues and facilitate Technical Reviews with Technical Team and manufacturing facilities
  • Report program status at monthly Technical Reviews
  • Lead Engineering Change activities throughout launch and production
  • Manage quoting activities for engineering changes and schedule and lead change negotiations
  • Work to ensure appropriate APQP activities are taking place
  • Resolve change related issues with supply base
Sales Account Manager Requirements
  • A four year Engineering / Business degree
  • Experience in systems, suspensions, chassis and BIW
  • Must have experience working with Ford
