Job Description
Quality Iteration Technician Responsibilities
  • Responsible for knowledge of surface quality, assembly quality, tooling and panel repeatability and tooling adjustments to improve panel quality
  • Communicate with tooling and die personnel to achieve required quality requirements
  • Assess project quality and take appropriate measures of correction
  • Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources
  • Establish work plans and determine project personnel for each phase of project
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and plan schedules per program timing
  • Prepare reports for management, clients, or others
  • Review design progress as required
  • Coordinate project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies
  • Coordinate activities of Quality Iteration
Quality Iteration Technician Requirements
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and an understanding of Body-in-White system process
  • Must be able to travel 60% - 80% of the time
  • Three to five years of related experience and / or training in Assembly Tooling
  • Knowledge of Hemming / Stamping required
  • MS Office computer skills preferred
  • Good with computers and measuring, mics / calipers
