Job Description
Production Planner Responsibilities
  • Disposition, tracking of delivery deadlines and availability of the production material
  • To require and audit expedient suitable measures in case of delayed delivery from the supplier
  • Independent reaction, information procurement and passing-on of strongly changes in framework conditions regarding customers and suppliers (call deviations, quality problems, capacities, insolvency, relocation of production, etc.)
  • To prepare and pass-on cost-relevant data, which are caused by supplier and customer towards quality assurance and controlling
  • To process the relocation of production, processes and outlets including the clarification of overhang material regarding the disposition or cost-relevant issues
  • Information from internal and external customer regarding incidents and shortage of materials supply
  • To initiate and contribute evaluation, development and auditing of suppliers
  • Independent introduction of measures, which will result in a reduction of inventory
  • Overall view of container and introduce corrective actions in case of a shortage
  • To consider and implement valid company directives, process and work instructions
  • Generally administrative tasks
  • Audit of the basic data regarding correctness and plausibility (BDE, SAP, paint shop system, planning of budget figures, control of high rack inventory) and initiating of the correction
  • Realization of customer orders in respect of production planning / in-house manufacturing
  • Independent work-out of production schedules and painting in consideration of economic operation
  • Coordination of pattern
  • Stock optimization
  • To maintain the production planning system
  • Fast forward planning in case of changes
  • Support and monitoring of Kanban (cycles, container Kanban)
  • Participation in inventory and stock securing measures
 
Production Planner Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years industry experience
  • Notice of internal processes
  • MS Office
  • SAP
