Job Description
IS Infrastructure Analyst Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting campus wide VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) telephony services
  • Responsible for all IT procurement (service / hardware / support) for RMRO US (Robotics LBU) from local / country / region / division/group or agreed external parties
  • Assist with day to day support for printers, desk / mobile phones, network and server issues
  • Minimize site and user downtime in regards to outages
  • Implements and maintains measurement equipment administration and tracking system
  • Manage Network Refresh and PDM Server solution projects from start to finish as the Business Process Owner
  • Understand the user requirements / concerns and articulate it technically
  • Work closely with Wipro desk side to make sure that all issues / support requests called-in are addressed and resolved
  • Establish strong, productive relationships with local business users, IS team, agreed local IT vendors, infrastructure delivery teams to facilitate reliable and continued support in the areas of VOIP, IT and procurement
  • Escalate issues and drive towards resolutions in a timely manner
  • Be a liaison between the business users and IS service / infrastructure delivery (SD&A) teams
IS Infrastructure Analyst Requirements
  • Understanding of server and network infrastructure
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in IT / Telecom support role in a multinational corporation
  • BS / BA in IT / CS or 2-3 years additional work experience in related field
  • Strong and conceptual understanding of servers, networks, printer architectures, application landscapes
  • Experience and skill managing managed service provider to achieve service objectives
  • Demonstrate evidence of influencing positive change within IT support environment
  • Ability to collaborate with multicultural global teams
  • Project management skills with strong requirements, data gathering & data analysis
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with extreme customer orientation
  • Experience with managing iPhones is preferred
