Job Description
Integration Engineer Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and assist in correcting Transmission, Controller or Software related problems on the vehicle and on customer powertrain test stand and dyno testing
  • Support calibrations, tuning and measuring throughout vehicle program to guarantee high quality execution
  • Maintain overview of transmission relevant testing information: what software / what transmission is where for what purpose, analyze problems, keep record of history actions and initiate relevant actions
  • Lead root cause analysis of transmission HW / SW incidents and support field service technicians with lessons learned experience
 
Integration Engineer Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Electro-Mechanics preferred
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electro-Mechanics required
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with transmission or driveline control systems
  • Practical knowledge of Electronics
  • Thorough knowledge of embedded systems (hardware and software) is beneficial
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside in a professional manner
  • Excellent problem solving skills, especially with detailed problem analysis and resolution
  • A systematic worker with perseverance
  • Customer focused, listening to the voice of the customer
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
  • Highly collaborative, working effectively as part of a team and also able to work independently
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Passionate about cars with hands-on experience
  • Strong personal computer skills required, including experience with MS Office software
  • Initial travel to Belgium for training
  • Estimated 20-30% travel and ability to periodically work non-traditional business hours to support project as required
