Job Description
Field Service Supervisor Responsibilities
  • Maintain effective communication with internal customers
  • Ensure customer satisfaction at vehicle assembly plants
  • Support vehicle assembly plant warranty incident root cause and resolution
  • Support issue resolution of pre-production fleet incidents
  • Support production and service verifications and analysis
  • Coordinate resources within group
  • Ensure project complies with the company quality and environmental management system requirements
Field Service Supervisor Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive industry required
  • A minimum of 6 years’ Prior experience in the automotive industry experience with transmission or driveline control systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering principles; as it pertains to Drivelines and transmissions
  • Excellent problem solving skills, including ability to identify and resolve issues and challenges
  • Experience with diagnosis of powertrain / driveline performance concerns
  • Ability to identify possible root cause conditions relating to powertrain / driveline systems
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude and subject matter expertise in manual transmissions
  • Understanding the importance customer services
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Must understand the customer quality systems relating to QS9000 and TS16949 standards
  • Must have leadership and management skills 
  • 10% travel and ability to periodically work non-traditional business hours
