Job Description
CNC Programmer Responsibilities
  • Ability to train and learn Inspection of manufactured parts
  • Work performed with constant supervision
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to maintain a high-level of attention to detail
  • Basic math & reasoning skills with the ability to comprehend production documents
  • Basic knowledge of Manufacturing and / or Quality principles and practices
  • Must gain working knowledge of special measuring tools, including but not limited to Micrometers, Sunnen Gages, Comparators and indicators
  • Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Train and become competent on the fundamentals of: Perform Pre-Processing inspection of manufactured parts (simple bushings)
  • Completion of all necessary paperwork including but not limited to; Receiving parts from Subcontractors, Job-Logs, Disposition of Scrap, etc.
  • Basic calibration verification of tools and equipment as required
  • Read, understand and follow the router and certification paperwork for each job
  • Basic understanding of reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints
  • Familiarization of all Quality and Safety standards, policies and procedures
 
CNC Programmer Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Aerospace experience preferred
  • Education / Licensing Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Working Conditions: 
  • Work is performed in a typical shop environment
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling,  lifting, transporting supplies or equipment, sitting or standing for extended periods of time at a desk using a computer and phone, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
