Job Description
The Document Control Coordinator (Contract) administers, coordinates and participates in compiling and maintaining control records and related files such as release drawings, engineering documents, ISO Quality Management System documentation, manufacturing and other operating department documents while supporting all system users.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
— Review Engineering Orders issued by the Engineering Groups to verify accuracy and ensure all established global and local procedures prior to release were adhered
— Communicate with Engineers regarding any issues/findings in the Engineering Orders and request corrections, follow up and confirm corrections were implemented
— Electronically release all documents and verify all system processing and electronic distribution is correct, ensure all electronic and hardcopy documents are filed in the proper locations
— Provide users with support on issues related to the use of all modules and basic functions
— Provide any requested specifications or internal standards to Engineers, verify correct version is utilized for engineering testing
— Maintain metrics to measure the Engineering Processes and create monthly reports
— Coordinate flow of Deliberation Requests between CBU's and Regions
— Administrate users' access for all workgroups and folders, managed by Engineering Administration
— Administrate/coordinate reviews and releases of all Quality Management System documents directly supporting several locations and provide support to other location Administrators as needed
Position Requirements:
— High School Diploma.  Bachelor's degree preferred
— 2+ years experience in a similar position involving Document Control activities
— Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
— Strong analytical and attention to details skills
— Experience working within an Automotive Engineering development environment is a plus
— ISO knowledge is desired
