Job Description
Bookkeeper Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the billing and collections department to expedite payment of accounts
  • Reconcile and prepare reports on billing / collection activities and cash flow / financial position as directed
  • Monitor cash collections and reimbursement levels, recommending corrective actions to management
  • Enters accounts payable into accounting software on a weekly basis
  • Generates statements on client accounts upon request, or as assigned
  • Completes monthly bank reconciliations
  • Completes weekly general journal entries
Bookkeeper Requirements
  • BA Degree in accounting or business administration
  • QuickBooks
  • General understanding of health benefits, medical insurance and EOB's
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • 2 years of prior office experience
